THIS is Hardy's new entry-level rod and the design, materials,
looks and casting performance are simply outstanding for a rod
in this price range.
Hardy have gone back to the drawing board and built this rod from scratch and you can tell. The action is fast, lightweight and responsive, allowing for easy loading and tight loops for distance and accuracy. It features a custom designed double up-locking
bar stock alloy reel seat with nylon compression rings, which follows the same lines as the new Demon reel, full wells cork handle and extension butt, Fuji stripping guides with hard chrome snake intermediates.
The three-section rod weighs 07.2 grams and is supplied in
a partitioned cloth bag, with a ordura covered rod tube. There
are 13 trout rods in the Demon range from a 7ft three-weight to
an 11ft for a seven-weight.
