Rebecca Thorpe has fly fished for over 10 years, originally being introduced to the sport via the Salmon & Trout Association Junior Programme.
A qualified Dentist, Rebecca practices in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, sits on the Environment Agency's North-East RFERAC and is currently the Chairman & Branch Organiser for the Derbyshire Salmon &Trout Association. Rebecca is also a regular coach and is Vice-Chairman of the Fishing for Everyone Ladies Fishing Club.
Rebecca specialises in increasing participation in fly-fishing, in particular for young people under 18 years of age through the "Derbyshire Juniors", a programme providing a safe, supportive, sustainable environment for the introduction and long-term involvement in the sport for young people.
Working in conjunction with Academy Instructors Stevie Munn, Stephen Kennedy and Pat Mulholland Rebecca helps to provide exclusive escorted Salmon & Trout Fishing on the River Drowes, Ireland.
Rebecca currently holds the Level II Game Qualification.
