Hailing from the river Spey in Scotland, Ian is regarded as being one of the world's top Spey casters.
Ian began fishing aged eight and worked as a Ghillie on the Knockando beat for 22 years.
A Former World Speycasting Champion, Ian holds STANIC and AAPGAI instructors qualifications in Salmon, specialising in Double Handed Rods and all aspects of the Spey-cast.
