Jim is a passionate fly fisherman and game angling instructor holding the advanced level of qualification of The Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructor (AAPGAI) in the Salmon discipline and Scottish Game Angling Instructors Certificate (SGAIC) Salmon.

Living in the West of Scotland with a base also in Pitlochry, Perthshire , Jim has extensive Salmon fishing experience throughout Scotland (river and loch) and caught his first Salmon over 40 years ago. He also has experience of Salmon fishing in other countries including Norway, Russia, Canada and Ireland.

Jim enjoys teaching all aspects of Salmon fishing with particular accent on Speycasting in all its forms from beginner to advanced levels.
